A Small Price To Pay

Time seemed anything but constant today. At one point it was at a crawl; I got so much done, then in the blink of an eye 2 hours had flown by without a clue of what happened.

Despite the time issue, I was finally able to clean and tidy the garden beds. I had to make a bit of a decision about some bell peppers, which seems to be dying due to an attack of stem borers. I hesitated for a few minutes, but figure it was a small price to pay for lack of knowledge on how to treat that pest organically. I have some research to do.

With that aside, I took some time to tackle a few smaller tasks. I never expected such simple tasks to take so much time. However, let’s just say they were well worth the effort.

As I sat down to prepare the entry this afternoon, I got an interesting visit from a passerby, who informed me of suspicious activities in what he assumed to me an extension of my garden. I did not have enough information on the matter to act, so I had to leave it there. Took a mental note of what he said though. That is before he asked permission to get some lemons. Now, that’s the way to do it.

It’s way past my bed time, but have a few things to get sorted out, such as writing this entry, check up on a friend, and complete preparation for bed. With these out of the way, I know I’m going to sleep like a baby tonight.
