This has been an interesting week to say the least; one riddled with challenges and surprises. Looking back, I am pleased by the work done. To top it off, I was able to complete all available tasks on the tracker, for the first time since creating it. Needless to say, I was grinning from eat to ear, as I completed the final tasks this afternoon.
I’ve noticed that the process of daily “journaling” has a bit of a ripple effect. By applying the steps of the process to other goals, I’ve been able to break repetitive tasks into smaller actions, then develop habits to get them done, without much of a hassle. As I complete these actions, I feel a bit more confident in myself, which encourages me to write even more.
During the week, I got a painful reminder of the need to use appropriate tools, especially those that deal with transporting heavy objects. Being able to complete a task one day, only to be incapacitated there after, doesn’t make much sense. I will have to do my best with what I have for now, while gradually purchasing suitable tools and equipment, over time.
Overall, this was a very productive week, which came at a cost. I found myself going to bed much later than planned. This week, I will make a much stronger effort to get more sleep. I know that I can do this!
