Almost missed my deadline!

Today was just crazy productive! I ended up wearing quite a few caps, literally in some cases.

  • Farmer – From early o’clock, I had to feed the new chicks, then check in on the newly sown seeds… Quite a few germinated already!
  • Pattern Maker – Then I had to sort out a uniform jacket style.
  • Graphic Designer – Finally finished working on the design for the market cards… Coming soon!
  • Copywriter – Had to prepare the wording for a simple info/sales page. Have to work on that tomorrow.

With all that being done, I almost missed the chance to write this post. We can’t let that happen!

You’ll Find A Way To Do What You Want To Do

In the past, I have been a bit guilty of making excuses when it came to certain tasks. However, I also noticed that I would still find the time and energy to look at my favorite shows, to chat with friends, or edit a video into the wee hours of the morning, even if my eyes were shutting down, falling asleep on myself

I’m not telling you to stretch yourself thin, do everything in moderation. I would much rather you pace yourself, and have sufficient time to do all that you need to get done, but sometimes, stuff happens. And when it does, it’s a test of our character as to how we react to such challenges.

Multitasking Is Overrated!

I’ve often pride myself in being able to juggle five plus tasks at once. However, as many have learnt, whether in business or romance. It all catches up to you one day.

I am not saying that I am perfect, I have four tabs open, as I write this, for Pete’s sake. However, I have learned that I get the most out of multiple tasks, if I focus on one task at a time. So, while I may have four tabs or tasks before me, I try my best to tackle one at a time, until I am finished, then move on. It’s amazing how quickly work gets done!

Task Complete, Now It’s a wrap!

I have to admit, that I did not play it fair in this post, but was still able to drop a golden nugget. I have noticed that by making a conscious effort to do a task each day, and sticking to that decision, the task becomes easier.

After a while I’ll focus on the technical stuff, but all for now it’s time to call it a night. Until next time. I’m out!
