After weeks of complaining about drought, and lack of water at the dams, the rains came in all its glory. What happened next was as alarming as it was hilarious. Most of the water supply systems, on the island, shut down. They were clearly not ready!
How ready are you to get what you asked for?
Have you ever noticed that amazing opportunities, those you have prayed for, pleaded for, and hoped for most of your life, seem to come at the most inopportune times?
Think of that job, that dream vacation, a night out with that person you’ve been crushing on. Well, at least that has been the case with me, more times than I’d care to admit. I’m sure you can relate.
Is this the downside of the Law Of Attraction?
I’m not going to get all metaphysical or philosophical here, but the answer is both yes and no.
- Yes, you do attract what you obsess about. I’m not talking about stalking someone here. That’s just creepy!
- No, if you are in a position to receive it, when it comes, then it will feel more like you are the victim of someone’s cruel idea of a joke.
Unfortunately, this is the part that many people, myself included, overlook when thinking about getting what we desire.
The simple trick that can change everything!
It’s not really a trick, it’s more like common sense, but you know what they say, “…it’s not that common anymore.”
For example, if you want to catch rain water, you won’t use a basket. You would get a bucket or some other container, ensure it is clean and void of holes, and placed in an area where water can be directed into it.
In other words, you take action beforehand, in preparation of the outcome you desire. During this process, you may come across additional opportunities, some of which might be even more amazing than you could have ever imagined.
However, through your effort, your preparation, your actions… You are ready!
Is it really that simple? Yes!
Don’t take my word for it. The only way to prove or disprove a theory, is to actually test it.
- First figure out what you want,
- Then take action towards it.
Don’t overcomplicate or overthink the process. It works! The question is, “How ready are you?”
