Today was one for the books! Harvested plants, went to town to make deliveries, collected materials, returned home to drop off, then back to town; to the bank. It’s month end, so you know what that meant. From there, I went to buy supplies; a new water boots. Afterwards, to the supermarket; more lines. I was so glad when I realised that my last task was complete and I could get to go home.
After such a crazy, hectic day, I settle down to get something to eat, but was interrupted by the chickens shouting in alarm. When I opened the door to see what was wrong, I was standing face to face with a huge, seemingly frantic bull; the same black and white one from before. This time was different, he was spooked, running all over the place. I managed to guide him back over the river, but he was really riled up. By the time I returned, my phone’s alarm was sounding, indicating time to start preparing for bed.
In a nutshell, today was like holding on for dear life as events unfolded. However, at the end of it all, I am grateful that I was able to complete each task successfully. Now, it’s time to call it a night. I have a feeling that I’m going to sleep like a baby. Oh, what a day!
