Seems like I am playing cat and mouse with the rain today. Yes, you guessed it, I’m rained in again, but not before I got some transplanting done.
The chickens got the day off to an interesting start. I’m not sure which one actually did it, but one of the hens made a neat little hole in the litter and laid and egg. I’m sure the rooster gave her a hand; or was it a paw?
The weather looks a bit gloomy now, don’t seem like I’ll get much done outside today, but like that hen, I got to do what I got to do.
I almost forgot it is Wednesday. I’ve had a calcium solution brewing over the last 10 days. It’s just in time to apply to the bell peppers. I’ll have to strain it out, then do some inside tasks until the rain eases up a bit.
All is not lost after all. The day is not going quite as planned, however, I am still getting a lot done. The best part is that I still have half the day remaining. All is well that ends well.
