My new daily routine is officially complete. However, I must note that nothing is set in stone, but likely to evolve as my needs, resources and nature of tasks change over time. That being said, I intend to follow through as indicated, at least for the next 90 days.

Over the last few months, I’ve noticed that the clearer my goals became and the more I do various tasks, the simpler my routine became. This is a huge plus, as it is now a bit easier to repeat day in and day out.

I often need to remind myself that throughout the day any number of crazy things can happen, which might cause me to have to push a task to the other day. As long as the task list is completed within the week, I know that I’ve made a step in the right direction.

In all the random distractions that life throws at me daily, I try, as much as possible, to at least be in control of how I start and end my days. By bookending the day with consistent completion of mini routines. These mini successes give me a bit of a motivational boost and sets the tone for the activities that follow.

As with its predecessors, this daily routine is meant to be a guide to assist me with focusing on specific tasks throughout the day. It is meant to serve me and not as a task master; pressuring me to overexert myself.
